Messenger is the official instant messaging tool of Google, designed to replace the old application that was responsible for managing our SMS.
Unlike Hangouts, this new Messenger will only be responsible for managing traditional text messages (SMS). No messages sent through the Google instant messaging tool, only SMS ‘of a lifetime’.
Even if you only work with SMS, Messenger includes some innovative and interesting features. For example, we can block any receiver from the application itself, so that we will never receive text messages from that number again. In the same way, we can establish schedules to which we will not receive messages.
The most notable change of Messenger with respect to the previous application of text message management is its interface, much cleaner and more elegant. In addition, through it we can send photographs and videos directly to our contacts.
Messenger is a very good tool for messaging and managing text messages, which comes with the Google quality seal, a guarantee when managing content as sensitive as SMS.
